Hi and welcome to Clunky Shell. We’re a small family-run business producing unique, nerdy and customisable designs from our home here in Keynsham, Bristol. We’re Lucy, Chris and our latest addition to the team – Zeke.
Hi I’m Chris. In the day, I work as software consultant. I code apps, websites and other wacky inventions for startups and companies in and around Bristol. I’ve helped bring hobby gardening apps to life, bring accessibility software to disadvantaged students with accessibility needs, and a bunch of other things. I spend a lot of time making the internet do magic, and chances are if you have your money with certain banks, enjoy a bit of Marmite – you’ve been using code I’ve written. You’re welcome!
Hello! I’m Lucy. I’ve been working as a nursery assistant in Bristol – mainly working and playing with young children and babies. But recently we decided to bring my work home, so now I’m a full-time mum to our beautiful (and very cheeky) boy, Zeke. I run most of the day-to-day of Clunky Shell, so if you need help with anything, just drop us a message and I’ll love help you – when the child-boss let’s me, of course.
Zeke is only just walking and is yet to master proficient computer skills (although his sign language is better than his Nana’s!). Despite our best effort to persuade him to type a biography, we’ve had to leave you with a photo of the cheekiest smile.
